Quick Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or oleo
    1 c. self-rising flour
    4 c. sliced peaches
    2 c. sugar, divided
    1 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan.
    Combine flour, milk and 1 cup sugar. Pour over butter.
    (Cook or let come to a boil the peaches and sugar.)
    Pour over batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
    Do not stir as you pour in pan.
    (If peaches are not juicy enough, add some water.
    Don't have cobbler too dry.)
