Coke Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box grape jello
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 small can Bing cherries
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 small Coke
Preparation
    Drain all juice from the pineapple and cherries and heat until it bubbles around the edge of the pan.
    Use this to mix the jello. Dissolve all jello, then add Coke.
    Mix well and let stand in refrigerator until it starts to congeal.
    Mix in cream cheese (cut into small cubes), pineapple, cherries and pecans.
    Let stand in refrigerator at least 6 hours before serving.
