Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 medium onion
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Drop by spoon into hot oil and deep fry until brown.
(Makes 12 to 15.)
