Frozen Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium size head cabbage, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 grated carrot
    1 chopped pepper
Preparation
    Add salt to cabbage.
    Let stand one hour; squeeze out extra juice.
    Boil last 7 ingredients 1 minute; let cool to lukewarm, then pour over squeezed cabbage.
    Pour into containers and freeze.
