Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    1 stalk celery, diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 can red kidney beans or pinto beans, undrained
    1 c. cooked rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook and stir first 4 ingredients in hot oil over medium-high heat until tender, but not browned, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in beans with liquid, cooked rice, salt and pepper.
    Reduce heat and stir gently until beans are hot.
    Makes 5 servings.
