Ingredients

2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. melted Crisco
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
3 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped, candied pineapple
1/2 c. chopped, candied cherries
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine and sift together all dry ingredients except rolled oats.
Add rolled oats, pineapple, cherries and nuts until coated well.
Add melted Crisco, eggs and milk.
Drop from teaspoon about 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 10 to 12 minutes or until brown as desired.
Makes approximately 6 dozen.
