Edwards Mansion Orange Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/2 diced orange sections
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. soft butter
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. sliced almonds

Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in large mixing bowl.
Add the following ingredients in the order given, one at a time, while stirring: shortening, soft butter, beaten eggs, milk and orange juice.
