Simple Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cream of mushroom soup mixed with milk
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. onion, chopped fine
    1 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
Preparation
    Mix together 1/4 cup of the mushroom soup, bread crumbs, egg and onion.
    Shape into 6 patties.
    Cook patties over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
    Set aside.
    Drain off fat. Stir in remaining soup mixture and mushrooms in skillet.
    Reduce to low.
    Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until patties are cooked completely through.
