Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup, water, salt and peanuts in a 2-quart glass bowl.
    Microwave on High for 5 minutes; stir.
    Microwave for 13 minutes or until syrup separates into threads.
    Stir in margarine, soda and vanilla until light and bubbly.
    Pour onto a greased cookie sheet; spread into a thin layer.
    Cool and break into pieces.
    Yield:
    1 1/2 pounds.
