Granny'S Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    2 c. fruit cocktail, drained
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. cherries, drained
Preparation
    Cook eggs, vinegar and sugar in double boiler on low heat stirring all the time.
    When thick take off heat and add 2 Tbsp. butter.
    Cool mixture.
    Add whipped whipping cream.
    In another bowl, add pineapple, fruit cocktail, marshmallows, cherries and nuts.
    Mix with cream mixture.
    Keep in refrigerator.
    Freezes well, too.
