Mexican Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. cheese, grated
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 lb. ground beef
Preparation
    Mix the cornmeal, milk, eggs and corn together.
    Brown ground beef and drain.
    Pour half of the cornmeal batter into greased 15 x 9-inch pan or skillet.
    Put in layers the cheese, meat, onion and pepper.
    Pour on remaining batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
