Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. peeled, coarsely chopped tomatoes
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 or 2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. hot sauce
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 to 3 c. vinegar
    1 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. barbecue spice
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 (3 1/2-inch) sticks cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large pan.
    Cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 hours or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove cinnamon sticks and pour into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
    Adjust lids.
    Process 15 minutes in a boiling water bath.
    Yield:
    4 1/2 quarts.
    (Process tomatoes in blender or food processor for a smoother sauce.)
