German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes
    2 lb. bacon
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    3 1/2 c. water
    1 onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. dill weed
    salt and pepper
    celery (if desired)
Preparation
    Boil potatoes; cool and slice.
    Cut bacon into 1/2-inch pieces.
    Fry slowly until brown.
    Reserve 1/2 cup bacon grease; add flour.
    Gradually stir in liquids.
    Add onion, seasonings and potatoes.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add salt to taste.
    Cover and let stand for 4 hours before serving.
