Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sliced onion
    2 Tbsp. diced green pepper
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    1/2 lb. chopped meat
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 cloves minced garlic
    2 c. canned red kidney beans
Preparation
    Brown meat, onion, pepper and garlic in oil.
    Drain.
    Add all ingredients except beans; cook for 1 1/2 hours on top of stove. Add beans, cook for 1 more hour on medium heat, stir occasionally.
