Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder
1 can sliced apples
4 eggs (at room temperature)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Add 4 eggs to all dry ingredients. Mix well. Add oil. Beat well. Add orange juice and vanilla and beat until smooth. Drain apples. Pour half of batter into greased and floured pan. Take drained apples one at a time and place in batter all around the cake. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture on top of that. Pour remaining batter, apples and cinnamon mixture as first time. Place in oven for 1 hour or until done.
