Spiced Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small bottle cherries, drained
    2 (29 oz.) cans peach halves
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    4 sticks cinnamon
    2 tsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Drain peaches and save some syrup.
    Combine syrup, vinegar and spices.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer about 10 minutes.
    Pour mixture over peaches and let cool.
    Store in refrigerator.
