Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh shrimp, boiled, peeled and deveined
    1 green pepper
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 medium onion
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. celery, diced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion in butter until limp.
    Add flour and blend until brown.
    Add tomatoes, minced pepper, celery, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and salt.
    Cover and cook over low heat until thickened.
    Add shrimp to sauce and simmer 20 minutes. Serve with fluffy rice.
    Serves 6 to 8.
