Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can chunk pineapple
    4 c. small marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    3 c. diced apples
    1 c. peanuts, chopped
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and pour juice into a saucepan.
    Mix pineapple with marshmallows and set aside.
    In saucepan, add juice, flour, sugar, egg and vinegar.
    Cook until thickened.
    Cool.
    Mix well with Cool Whip and juice mixture.
    Fold in marshmallows and pineapple.
    Add diced apples and peanuts.
    Taste best if made ahead of time.
