Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce
    mayonnaise
    sliced onions
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 box frozen or cooked peas
    shredded Cheddar cheese
    fried, crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Layer with lettuce and spread with mayonnaise.
    Put a thin layer of sliced onions on top.
    Sprinkle with sugar and then frozen or cooked peas.
    Add a layer of shredded Cheddar cheese and 1 layer of fried, crumbled bacon.
    Let set several hours or overnight.
