Sandy'S Hearty Beef Cheese Crescent Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce with mushrooms
    1 (8 oz.) can green beans, drained
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a large fry pan, brown beef, onion and green pepper. Drain off fat.
    Stir in tomato sauce, beans and salt.
    Simmer while preparing crust.
