1 c. light margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. walnuts, optional
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Combine the dry ingredients and set them aside. Cream together the remaining ingredients. Add the dry ingredients half at a time. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
