Strawberry Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 eggs
    1 qt. fresh or frozen strawberries, sweetened
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Line bottom of 8 x 11-inch pan with more than half of the wafer crumbs. Cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Spread over crumbs. Crush and sweeten berries and spread next. Top with whipped topping, then with remaining crumbs. Chill overnight.
