Tropical Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. light salad oil
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Sift flour and all other dry ingredients together, except sugar.
    Prepare carrots, pineapple and nuts.
    Grease and flour 3 (9-inch) round cake pans.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat eggs lightly; beat in sugar.
    Stir in oil, dry ingredients, carrots and 3/4 cup pineapple.
    Stir in nuts and coconut.
    Spread evenly in pans.
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until sides shrink and top springs back when touched.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar; decorate with grated orange peel.
