Kentucky Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour, sifted
2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Grease and flour a tube pan.
Sift flour and sugar together. Make a well in flour.
Add egg yolks and oil; mix.
Fold in egg whites and add rest of ingredients, mixing well.
Bake for 1 hour and 35 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Cool before removing from pan.
