Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 c. cucumbers, sliced
4 c. onion, sliced
3 Tbsp. salt
4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. celery seed
2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. powder alum
Preparation
-
Set salt for 3 hours over cucumbers and onions.
Drain and put into large container and add the rest of the ingredients to onion and cucumbers.
Store covered in refrigerator.
