Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    1/2 green pepper
    6 large carrots, shredded
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Sprinkle shredded vegetables with salt and let stand 1 hour. Drain mixture if water accumulates.
    Combine sugar and other 4 ingredients in a saucepan.
    Bring to boil; boil 3 minutes.
    Cool and pour over cabbage mixture and let stand 3 minutes.
    Stir well. Package in plastic freezer bags or containers and freeze.
    To serve, remove desired amount and thaw in refrigerator.
    Serves 10.
