Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. chopped dates
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Boil the dates in the water.
    Let cool 1/2 hour.
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add the remaining ingredients. Add date liquid alternately with flour.
    Makes 2 loaves.
