Pepper Cheese Grits(Even Those Who Don'T Like Grits, Like This!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. grits
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 rolls jalapeno cheese, grated
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
Preparation
    Stir grits into boiling salted water.
    Cover and cook slowly 25 to 30 minutes.
    Add all cheese except 3/4 cup and stir until melted.
    Blend a small amount of grits into beaten eggs, then stir eggs into grits.
    Add garlic powder if used.
    Pour into a greased two-quart casserole; sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 8 to 10.
