Two Egg Hot Water Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. boiling water
    vanilla or lemon for flavoring
Preparation
    Beat eggs until lemon colored.
    Add sugar, beating until light.
    Sift dry ingredients together, then add to egg mixture. Mix well.
    Add 1/4 cup boiling water, a little at a time, then add the remaining 1/4 cup boiling water (all at once) and the flavoring.
