Curried Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small yellow onion
    1 clove garlic
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    12 oz. large uncooked shell shrimp
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. curry powder
    1 c. plain yogurt
    salt and pepper to taste
    cooked long grain rice (optional)
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    Slice onion.
    Finely chop garlic.
    In a large skillet, heat butter and oil over moderate heat.
    Add the onion and saute until soft, about 5 minutes.
    Add the garlic and saute for 2 more minutes.
