Shepherd Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large yellow onion, peeled and finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. beef or bacon drippings or cooking oil
    1 1/4 lb. ground chuck
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. steak sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3 c. hot seasoned potatoes
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Saute onion and green pepper in drippings in a large skillet over moderate heat for 10 minutes, or until onion is golden.
    Add beef and saute, breaking meat up with a spoon about ten minutes until lightly browned, drain off fat as it accumulates.
