Beef Stroganoff Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 loaf French bread
    butter, softened
    2 c. (16 oz.) sour cream
    2 tomatoes, diced
    1 large green pepper, diced
    3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (12 oz.)
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown beef and onion; drain.
    Add salt, garlic powder and pepper.
    Cut bread lengthwise in half; butter both halves.
    Place on baking sheet.
    Remove meat mixture; stir in sour cream.
    Spoon onto bread.
    Sprinkle with tomatoes, green pepper and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese has melted, about 20 minutes.
