Myrtle Sizemore'S Egg Custard Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

8 eggs (reserve 6 egg whites for meringue)
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. margarine
4 c. milk, scalded
2 tsp. vanilla
2 unbaked 9-inch deep pie shells
Preparation

Beat 6 egg yolks and 2 whole eggs slightly.
Add sugar, flour and cornstarch.
Add hot milk gradually.
Add margarine and vanilla.
Pour mixture into uncooked pie shell.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 375\u00b0 until firm.
Don't overcook.
