Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. molasses
1 egg
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Cream the shortening and brown sugar well. Add molasses and egg. Mix well. Gradually blend in dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Fill press.
Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
