Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add one egg at a time, beating well after each one.
Sift dry ingredients.
Stir in raisins, then add to butter and sugar mixture.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until edges brown.
This recipe doubles or triples easily for big batches.
