Checca With Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    4 garlic cloves, sliced
    2 Tbsp. basil or 15 basil leaves
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1 lb. uncooked shrimp, peeled and butterflied
    1 lb. egg noodles flat pasta (small)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook pasta and set aside.
    Heat oil and garlic in skillet until garlic is golden brown.
    Add stewed tomatoes and simmer for 1 minute.
    Add basil and season with salt and pepper.
    Add shrimp and cook for 2 more minutes.
    Toss over pasta.
    Serves 4 to 6. This can be made with or without shrimp, or with sliced chicken breast.
