Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. salad oil
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. regular oats (uncooked)
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, oil, egg and vanilla in large mixing bowl; mix well.
Combine flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar.
Add to creamed mixture, mixing well until blended. Stir in cereal, oatmeal and pecans.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place on greased cookie sheet 1-inch apart; flatten with a fork. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 5 1/2 dozen.
