International Aid Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes (raw)
    6 carrots (raw)
    1 c. celery (raw)
    1 c. onion (raw)
    1 small can stewed tomatoes
    2 lb. meat
    3 Tbsp. tapioca or cornstarch
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    garlic salt to taste
Preparation
    Place all of the ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 4 hours.
    Keep covered for entire baking time.
