Sea Island Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Melt margarine in saucepan on very low heat.
    Remove.
    Blend in sugar and stir in flour, then add egg and vanilla; beat well.
    Add nuts, coconut, chocolate and stir to combine.
    Pour into pan and bake 30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut in squares.
