Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream together the sugars, shortening and eggs.
    Sift in dry ingredients.
    Mix in remaining ingredients and separate into 3 parts.
    Roll each part in long rolls in wax paper.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Slice and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
