Three Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can yellow wax beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, washed and drained
    1/2 c. chopped green peppers
    1 small jar chopped pimento
    1/2 c. thinly sliced white onion
    1/4 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, vinegar, cooking oil, salt and pepper. Pour over drained beans and toss well.
    Refrigerate overnight. Drain before serving.
    Serve on chopped lettuce in salad bowl.
