Gourmet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash brown potatoes
    2 c. sour cream
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    10 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/4 c. melted margarine
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, sour cream, soup, 1/4 cup margarine, onion, cheese, salt and pepper in bowl; mix well.
    Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Top with cornflakes crumbs; drizzle with 1/4 cup margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 55 to 60 minutes.
    May omit topping if preferred.
