Bev'S Lemon Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. grated lemon peel (optional)
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix flour, margarine and powdered sugar in small bowl.
Press evenly in bottom and about 3/8-inch up sides of an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan.
(If dough is sticky, flour fingers.)
Bake 20 minutes.
Beat remaining ingredients in a medium bowl on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Pour over hot crust and bake until no indentation remains when touched lightly in center, about 25 minutes.
Let stand until cool; cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
Makes 25 squares.
