Peanut Butter Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 candy kisses

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except candy kisses.
Mix until dough forms.
Shape into balls (1 teaspoon).
Roll in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Top each cookie immediately with a candy kiss.
Press down firmly so that cookie cracks around the edge.
