Uncle Jim'S Whipped Turnip Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. turnips, cooked and mashed
2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 eggs, slightly beaten

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together very well.
Spoon into greased 6-cup casserole dish and brush the top with a little butter.
Bake in 375\u00b0 moderate oven for 1 hour.
