Pear Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. yogurt or buttermilk
1 c. chopped and peeled pears
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg together and mix with the first 3 ingredients.
Then add the yogurt or buttermilk and pears and vanilla.
Mix all.
Pour in greased 5 x 9 x 3-inch pan.
Bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
Makes 1 loaf.
