Company French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    12 slices bread
    5 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish.
    Stir in sugar and cinnamon.
    Place bread in double layers over sugar mixture.
    Beat eggs and milk; pour over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven, covered, for 35 minutes.
    Uncover and bake for 10 minutes. Cut into squares and invert onto plate.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with syrup.
    Serves 6 to 8.
