Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 lb. butter, softened
Preparation
    Sift flour with sugar.
    Cut in butter using electric mixer or pastry blender to form dough.
    Press into 13 x 9-inch pan or 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
    Bake 5 minutes at 375\u00b0 and then 45 minutes at 300\u00b0.
