Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Beat egg whites until foamy, adding sugar 1 teaspoon at a time.
Beat until very stiff.
Add vanilla and food color (if desired). Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet that has been lined with foil.
Put in preheated 300\u00b0 oven and turn oven off.
Leave in oven until cool or overnight.
