Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chocolate wafer crumbs
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk (I prefer Eagle Brand)
1 c. crushed peppermints
3 drops liquid red food coloring
2 c. whipping cream, whipped
whipped cream and crushed or whole peppermints (garnishes)
Preparation

Combine first three ingredients and firmly press into a 9-inch pie plate and chill.
Beat cream cheese at high speed with electric mixer until firm.
Add condensed milk, mint candy and food coloring; beat well.
Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into prepared pan.
Cover and freeze until firm.
Garnish if desired. Yields one 9-inch pie.
